In 1989, Mykel moved to NYC to pursue his dream to be on the Broadway stage and attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.  When he graduated in 1992 his journey as a singer, performer, musician... took many twists and turns beginning with traveling the world as a multilingual singer on cruise ships.

Credits: Rugrats: A Live Adventure at Radio City, The Rock Opera: Jesus Christ Superstar (National and International Tours), Celebrity Judging Round for America's Got Talent- Season 5, Featured in Documentary Film: A Flow Affair, Pieces Of Me Off Broadway on Theater Row and at the legendary Stonewall Inn.

"Being a victim of an assault, a hate crime, rape, whatever it is, does have a mental impact and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is no joke,” Dicus says. “People need to work to exercise the demons. In an effort to heal, I created Pieces of Me because I want to help those who have been victimized to emerge as stronger, healthier versions of their former selves."
